Sand to Suites: Island Tycoon
Privacy policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
Sand to Suites: Island Tycoon ("the game") is made by Day One Marketing ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses and why.
The short version: you don't need an account, we never ask for your name or email address, and your island is saved on your own device.
What the game saves on your device
Your progress (your islands, money, levels, gems, settings and a record of what you've bought) is saved on your iPhone or iPad so you can pick up where you left off. It isn't sent to us.
If you're signed in to Game Center and iCloud is on, a copy of your progress is also kept in your own iCloud account, so you can pick up where you left off on another iPhone or iPad. We can't see it.
Game Center
If you're signed in to Apple's Game Center, the game uses it for achievements, leaderboards and the iCloud copy of your progress. Your Game Center nickname and scores can appear on leaderboards, as with any Game Center game. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy; we don't receive your Apple Account details.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, the game schedules a few reminders on your device, for example when your vault is full or your daily gift is ready. They're set up on your iPhone or iPad and nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in your device's Settings.
Purchases
Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details. The App Store tells the game which items you bought so it can give them to you, and give them back when you use Restore purchases.
Advertising
The game shows ads through Google AdMob, for example when you choose to watch an ad for a reward, and sometimes between screens.
To show ads, count how they perform and prevent fraud, Google AdMob may collect information from your device, such as its advertising identifier, its IP address (which can show roughly where you are), the device model and system version, and how you interact with ads.
Before your advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites, the game asks your permission (Apple's App Tracking Transparency). If you say no, you'll still see ads, just not ones based on that tracking. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland you'll also be asked for consent. You can change your choice at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Any purchase turns off the ads that play between screens for good. With the VIP Pass, you get every ad reward without watching an ad.
Where the law gives you a choice about ads (for example in the EU and the UK), you can change it at any time in the game's Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Partners
The only companies that receive information through the game are Google AdMob (for ads) and Apple (for purchases, Game Center, iCloud and crash reports). Each must protect it at least as well as this policy describes, under its own privacy policy.
Crash reports
If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device's Settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. We use them only to fix bugs.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information. The game doesn't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location, and it has no chat and no player accounts.
If you contact us
If you email us, we use your email address and your message only to help you, and we delete them when they're no longer needed.
Children
The game isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
Your progress stays on your device (and in your own iCloud, if you use Game Center): deleting the game deletes the copy on the device. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have the right to ask what personal information is held about you and to have it deleted. We don't hold personal information about players, but contact us and we'll help, including with requests about ad data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
